Kari Sam Wuhrer born on 28th April 1968 is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer's career began as she was a teenager. Her most well-known roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is Payroll accountant as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). Her family has given her three brothers. When she was young She sang in nightclubs, and then went on to sing. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School from 13 years old, she was a drama student at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. Born in Brookfield Connecticut on 28 April, she was raised there. Her mother is a payroll accountant and her father, German-American, is a policeman and automobile salesman. Kari is one of the three youngest children. As an teen, she was a performer in clubs, taking a break from home.
