Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney was born on the 19th of November, 1959. The actress is an American actor. She is well-known for her performances across a variety of categories on screen and stage in a career that spans three decades. Janney has received many awards including an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. She also won seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney has also been nominated for two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston but was raised within Dayton (Ohio). She got a grant to studying at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after graduating from Kenyon College. Janney has been credited with several small and very rare appearances on film and television in the past. Her breakthrough part in the role of C. J. Cregg in the NBC show The West Wing (1999-2006) resulted in four Primetime Emmy Awards. She won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Best Guest Actress on the lead in a drama Series as Margaret Scully's character in Masters of Sex. Her most well-known role was her performance as Bonnie Plunkett.
