Carol Lynley

She is most well-known for her work in the movies Blue Denim (1959), The Poseidon Adventure (1872) as well as The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Lynley was raised in Manhattan by her Irish mother and New England father. Before she became an actor, she started modeling as a child model. She was nominated for the Theatre World Award for "one of the most promising stars 1956-2005" for her part in The Potting Shed. Lynley began her career in film in the year 1958 with the Disney film The Light in the Forest and was followed by Holiday for Lovers (1959) and Blue Denim (1959). In 1959, she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer - Female for the movie The Light in the Forest. A year later she was again nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Female Newcomer - Female.
